November 2022 Meeting

For our November monthly meeting, we will be joined by Dr. Giulia Sulis (Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz) as our special guest.

Giulia's research interests lie in all aspects of the psychology of language learning and teaching, and in particular in language-learning motivation, engagement, agency, WTC, and language-teacher wellbeing.

She is joining us to talk about her journey from a PhD in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK), via post-doc work with Sarah Mercer, to her current position as principle investigator heading a research project into middle-school learners' engagement.

Giulia will give a brief informal talk at the start of the session, followed by Q&A.
