Bio:
Mihaela's academic journey has revolved around tourism since high school. While she has a comprehensive understanding of the field, her true passion lies in Artificial Intelligence (AI). For over a year, she has dedicated herself exclusively to AI research at the PhD level.
Mihaela's academic work integrates AI with topics like intranets, extranets, and secured domains. She currently serves as an assistant at the Faculty of Tourism, part of the University of Maribor in Brežice. Her primary focus and pedagogic part is on data analysis.
When describing herself, Mihaela reflects on the universal human trait of curiosity—an innate drive for knowledge about oneself, others, and the world. In her case, this curiosity finds its source deep within the combination of AI and tourism.
