About the event
Bio:
Veronika Derecskey holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (University of Nottingham) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology. She is an experienced English language teacher with extensive practice in Hungary and the UK. Veronika has a background in TESOL (MA), alongside CELTA certification. Her research focuses on EFL teacher burnout and engagement, with particular interest in teacher psychology, professional development, and coping mechanisms. She has contributed to the field through teaching, research, and burnout workshop delivery for EFL teachers. Her work has been presented at conferences and supported by a strong interest in qualitative methodologies and data analysis.
